Playing-Solitaire

Had a nice dinner tonight at Steve’s. He cooked steaks on his new Blackstone, while the kids played with their new “pet” moth, Poppy. LOL. We watched Poppy drink nectar from flowers and it was actually pretty interesting. I really love these moments, since I don’t know if I’ll see another Father’s Day. I got John and the boys compass/sundials, which I thought were cool but🤷‍♀️ .
Tomorrow we pick up our new car! I have absolutely loved our Escape (our third one!) but we’ve outgrown it and really need more room. The Explorer is the same but just bigger. I love the third row seats! And the second row has seat heaters, which the kids will love.

Father’s Day! My dad’s been gone since 2011, but I miss him more every day. He would love the technology we have now! He was always interested in our phones and computers etc. He had a cell phone (a flip phone!) and loved it. Whenever something breaks around the house, I wish he was here to fix it. He was pretty creative!

Had an Echo at Strong. I don’t love them but have to do every three months, due to the harshness of the chemo. But afterwards we were for breakfast at the Great American Diner. I had eggs Benedict but wish I had gotten the waffle. Next time!
